January 5, 2026 - Say hello to the newest little tree dwellers! 🐍📸 The clutch portrait page is live with high-res images of our neonates — each one full of color, pattern, and personality. Can you pick a favorite?

January 2, 2026 - A perfect way to start the new year! Four of the five neonates have already shed and taken their first meal, and this morning the last one completed its first shed. I’ll finally be able to take its portrait and go live with the full clutch page. Stay tuned!!

December 20, 2025 - 100% hatch rate! I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The clutch portrait page will go live after their first shed, with each neonate receiving a proper individual portrait shot. Stay tuned!

December 19, 2025 - Day 53 of incubation brought an unforgettable milestone: the first two neonates have officially pipped. Watching those tiny noses break through the eggs is something I’ll never forget. This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter at Orange Coast Arboreals.

November 1, 2025 - The small clutch is developing nicely after five days of incubation. 🕯️🥚

October 27, 2025 - Sapphiron lays her clutch exactly 40 days post-ovulation. It was not the result I was hoping for, but 5 viable eggs are better than none. Praying that they go the distance! 🙏🙏

October 12, 2025 - Sapphiron has completed her pre-lay shed right on schedule — 24 days post-ovulation. 🤞🤞

September 21, 2025 - It’s been an eventful week here at Orange Coast Arboreals! Sapphiron ovulated, and I’m really hopeful for a clutch of fertile eggs this season and for Nefarian to prove out. Sindragosa also passed three retained slugs from last year—after palpation showed no more issues, I’m optimistic she’s finally in the clear and ready for future pairings. As for Sinestra, the boys haven’t shown much interest yet, but with her next shed cycle coming up, I’m expecting that to change soon!

September 9, 2025 - Sapphiron has been off food for two weeks now and has been spending more time basking beneath the heat panel. Fingers crossed we’ll see an ovulation in the coming weeks!🤞🙏

August 25, 2025 - Pairing season has officially kicked off here at Orange Coast Arboreals! A couple of pairs are already locked up, and I’m planning to start a third pairing once Sinestra finishes her next shed. Really hoping for something productive this year — the chondro gods know I could use the luck! 🙏🤞

February 8, 2025 - Despite our best efforts, the recent breeding project has unfortunately failed. After administering oxytocin shots, no further egg deposition occurred, but the female seems to be acting completely normal. She’s been perching comfortably and even took a meal, indicating she’s doing well overall. We'll continue monitoring her. Stay tuned for updates!
